Copycat Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea

Copycat Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea

I discovered Medicine Ball Tea at Starbucks this past fall and quickly realized that I wanted to find a way to make it at home with far less sugar. Whether I’m feeling under the weather or simply want something warm and lemon-ey, this totally hits the spot. Not to bring this up, but with all of the current events happening in the world… cough… Coronavirus… cough… it certainly doesn’t hurt to increase your hydration!

If you’ve ever had the Medicine Ball Tea from Starbucks you know that it wraps up your soul in a warm blanket of cozy. Part of what is so incredible about it is the many layers of flavor that hit your taste buds oh so perfectly. From peach, to mint, to lemon, to honey the flavors continue to reveal themselves with each and every sip.

I used the Celestial Seasonings Country Peach Passion in this recipe, which I have loved for years but ooh this recipe really amped it up. The fresh mint was another addition that really took things to the next level. You could use a mint tea bag in place of the mint leaves, but there is nothing quite like fresh herbs! Other than that, it’s simply lemon juice and honey and voila, you have your Copycat Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea!

Did I mention that a medium Medicine Ball Tea from Starbucks has 130 calories and 30g of sugar, while the recipe below is only 72 calories with 17g of sugar (all from the honey)?! What a win!
