Garlic Rosemary Hummus

I’m about to up your snack game, your potluck game and your “I’m having friends over” game, in the easiest. possible. way. Hummus is a total crowd and palate pleaser. This silly simple recipe is perfect for both entertaining and your weekly meal prep. Because let’s be real… everything tastes better with a little hummus dolloped on top 😉

This recipe came to life because I made a weak grocery shopping run this week and was craving hummus. Quite honestly, I had to squeeze in my grocery shopping, late night, after coaching, at a Hy-Vee (which I’ve never shopped at before) and got straight up lost in their football field-sized warehouse of food options. I couldn’t find the hummus and though I’m not much of a quitter, I unfortunately was on my hummus mission that night. I threw in the towel on finding a small container of blended chickpeas in a one billion square foot store and decided to get crafty with my own supplies! See, everything happens for a reason.

One thing that fortunately I didn’t have to seek out in the massive Hy-Vee was tahini because I had some stashed in my fridge. Pretty certain that would have been even more deceptive than the hummus. I’ve been using this Once Again Tahini and love it! Did you know that tahini is made from sesame seeds?! It tastes far different that other nut butters and adds the perfect flavor to your homemade hummus.

Between the tahini, the garlic and the fresh rosemary, your taste buds will be dancing!
