Tropical Green Protein Shake

Green protein shakes are quite possibly the most beautiful thing you can make in your blender. The green color from the spinach and avocado is next-level delightful! PLUS you are getting tons of nutrients packed into your glass.

If you’ve never put spinach in your protein shake, it’s time. I promise that you won’t even be able to taste it… it’s like tasteless green goodness. Add some tropical fruits into the blender as well, and pretty soon you’ll start daydreaming that you’re sitting in the warm sun, beneath a palm tree, sipping this delicious concoction. So basically, the recipe below guarantees you a healthy balance of protein, carbs and fats, along with the most wonderful daydream. You’d be crazy to turn that down 😉

This recipe can serve as a quick meal in the morning, or the perfect replenishment post-workout. I got crafty this morning and made this shake into a smoothie bowl, topped with shredded coconut, nuts and more fruit. Wowzers did it hit the spot after a sweaty workout! And my tropical dreams actually brought a little sunshine to the chilly state of MN, so I guess something is working.

Time to get blending, babes!
